題名: 以奧迪台灣為例剖析臺灣豪華電動車市場的發展; A study of EV market emergence in Taiwan using Audi Taiwan as an example
Authors: 郝子鈞; Hao, Joshua
摘要: Since the invention of automobiles, the industry has evolved constantly because of innovations and regulatory changes. However, throughout history, most passenger cars have been based on internal combustion engines. It was not until the Paris agreement in the recent decade did the industry start to heavily develop and launch zero emission powertrains. The battery electric vehicles (BEV) market grew tremendously within a very short time between late 2010’s and 2022 in Taiwan based on retail volume and number of BEV models available. In late 2010, there were no direct current (DC) fast charging networks, no regulation guidelines on standards of electric vehicles (EV) and no software or supporting businesses needed for BEV drivers. A few years later, the premium BEV market has thrived with growing infrastructure landscape and a strong local value chain.\nThe formation of the market and the growth in Taiwan was a bottom-up approach with consumers and value chain suppliers going into the market prior to clear government policies and support programs. Despite the lack of holistic policies by the government, the ability for Taiwanese companies and businesses to pivot and fill empty business needs has made the growth of the market possible. Audi Taiwan is one of the first traditional manufacturers to bring BEV models into the Taiwanese market, but now faces strong challenges as more competitors are entering the market as it continues to develop and grow.

題名: 採購與供應鏈管理中的公共指標 —現狀評估和潛在改進; Public indices in procurement & supply chain management — status quo assessment and potential improvements
Authors: 徐立昂; Leon Joshua Schuette
摘要: 無; Due to globally disruptive events in recent years supply chain bottlenecks have gained attention. Supply and production chains are the backbone of the economy. Furthermore, procurement and supply chain management are of increasing importance to businesses. Whilst the Purchasing Manager’s Index (PMI) has been researched extensively by economists, no source could be found that summarizes the status quo of all publicly accessible indices in this field and/or assesses them. The following research questions are addressed: 1. What does the status quo of public indices in procurement and supply chain management look like? What indices are available and how can they be classified? Are there any initial ideas to cover blatant gaps or to make obvious improvements? 2. How do these indices generally differ from the Purchasing Manager’s Index? 3. What criteria can be used to assess the quality and added value of such indices for practitioners? 4. Considering the current state of research, how do the Purchasing Manager’s Index, Logistics Manager’s Index as well as the Global Supply Chain Pressure Index fair under these criteria? In total 16 indices in Procurement, Logistics & SCM and Supply Chain Risk Management could be identified. As of now, the PMI dominates the field and gives actionable insights for practitioners. The LMI is of interest for logistics specifically. The GSCPI provides a straightforward overview on top of the PMI. Private service providers can use their data to create unique indices. There is a lack of indices depicting sustainability risk development.

題名: 日台中小企業促進員工福祉實踐案例研究; Case study on the Japanese and Taiwanese small and medium-sized enterprises` practices to promote employees well-being
Authors: 小川惠; Megumi Ogawa
摘要: 無; In recent years, work style reforms are progressing in Japan, and an increasing number of people are adopting the value of well-being. Notably, 99.7% of Japanese companies are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). SMEs support the Japanese economy and have a great influence on society. Generally speaking, SMEs are said to lack resources compared to large companies. Against this backdrop, this thesis explores how Japanese SMEs promote mental and physical health of their employees, while maintaining their business under such circumstances. Specifically, case studies of actual companies – Japanese and Taiwanese SMEs which have different characteristics – were conducted. Based on the research, I came to the conclusion that the following practices are essential in order for Japanese SMEs to further promote the well-being of their employees: It is necessary to provide opportunities for employees to create internal connections, give employees control on work styles and schedules. It is also essential to receive expert support to promote wellbeing initiatives, to show employees with the attitude of pursuing profits as a company and methods to realize it, and to establish a system that focuses on labor productivity rather than working hours.
