| Abstract: | 「禮」為儒學重心、傳統文化之精髓，故我國素稱「禮義之邦」。然則「禮」之意為何？而其演變又如何？茲編首由文字結構，言「禮」之起源。再就說文及古籍所載，詳述「禮」之意義。復分：甲、禮儀以名位為依歸；乙、禮為處理政事之常軌；丙、禮為個人日常生活之規範；丁、禮之主要精神－－敬、讓、恭、儉。用以詳述「禮」之演變。蓋生民之初，「禮」固為宗教祭祀之崇拜儀式，寖漸為人群之生活範疇，由外及內，根深蒂固，其功效與法典已無所軒輊矣。 |
