| Abstract: | 本研究是基於美國密西根大學社會研究院政治研究中心所作的一九八○年全國大選調查研 究資料分析而成。其目的足在探討影響美國選民投票抉擇的主要因素，及其影響力之大小 。經分析後發現： 1.一九八○年的大選中，候選人的能力特質對選民的投票抉擇有相當大的影響。 2.卡特的擁護者，仍然滿意於卡特的政策表現，並可能經由對卡特的良好感受。而與其投 票抉擇產生關聯。 3.選民的政黨認同，仍兵部份的解釋力。不過與候選人的能力特質相較，其影響力似已減 弱，不如往昔學者所強調的，是一個最重要、最具影響力的因素。 4.選民的意識形態亦具部份的解釋力，不過其影響力小於政黨認同因素，已較獲具體的肯定。 |
