摘要: 本稿は、日本語を上層(語彙供給)言語とする宜蘭クレオールの数詞について記述を行い、その変化のプロセスを明らかにするものである。東岳村で得られたデータをもとに考察を行った結果、次のようなことが明らかになった。まず、宜蘭クレオールには日本語由来の本数詞とアタヤル語由来の本数詞が併存し、1~4にはアタヤル語由来の本数詞、5以上には日本語由来の本数詞が用いられる傾向が見られる。次に、日本語由来の助数詞-ri.-mey.-hiki.-to.-day.-syo.-cu.-hong.-may.-syacu.-koなどが用いられるが、その意味用法は日本語と異なるものである。
其次,宜蘭克里奧爾中可見-ri、-mey、-hiki、-to、-day、-syo、-cu、-hong、-may、-syacu、-ko等源自日語的「分類詞」,但其語意及用法與日語相異。表名詞之數量時,1~4亦傾向使用源自泰雅語的本數詞,而5以上則使用「源自日語的本數詞+分類詞」或僅用源自日語的本數詞。再者,根據世代間変異,本文指出:①受訪者年紀愈輕,分類詞-hiki與-hong的變體愈少,②受訪者年紀愈輕,分類詞系統愈趨簡化;分類詞-ko之語意範圍自「小型物品」擴張至「機械」,甚至於「動物」「扁平物品」。|This paper describes the numeral system of a Japanese-lexifier creole, Yilan Creole. Data were collected from three generations of consultants in Tungyueh Village, Taiwan. The analysis indicates, first, that Yilan Creole uses cardinal numerals from both Atayal (the substrate) and Japanese, with Atayal numerals restricted to numbers of four or less. Second, Yilan Creole uses Japanese-derived numeral classifiers including -ri, -mey, -hiki, -to, -day, -syo, -cu, -hong, -may, -syacu, and -ko (and variants). From one to four, Atayal-derived numerals modify nouns directly. For larger numbers, either a Japanese-derived numeral, or a number phrase consisting of a Japanese-derived numeral and classifier, modifies the noun. Third, there is generational variation: younger speakers use fewer classifiers and fewer variants of those classifiers. They also show semantic extension of the small object classifier -ko, using it much more widely than do older speakers (e.g., for machines, animals and flat objects).
