摘要: The majority of Taiwan residents now have Taiwan-centered national identities, viewing the island as separate and independent from the Chinese mainland. Thus, few people on the island support Beijing`s “one country, two systems” proposal. China`s new leaders need to present fresh plans if they are truly committed to peaceful unification.
