財務管理學系成立於民國七十八年，於八十四年八月把原財務金融所的財管組合併為本系之碩士班，並於八十六學年度成立博士班。八十七年配合商學院成立EMBA財管組學程(於九十四年起改為財金EMBA)，培育一流企業領導人才，而後於九十九年整併入商學院EMBA國際金融組。
