本系師資之專長以網路通訊、多媒體、智慧計算與資訊系統等四大領域為主，並以積極努力整合各領域的框架為目標。此外，本系在政大以人文社會見長的環境中，已經逐漸摸索出資訊科技與人文社會學科各領域接軌與加值的角色，在跨學科、跨領域的教育訓練及研究定位上，具備了獨特的角度。 National Chengchi University (NCCU) is a school distinguished in the liberal arts.
