題名: | Some Implications of China`s Military Modernization | 作者: | Puchala, Donald J. | 關鍵詞: | military modernization;People`s Liberation Army(PLA);deterrence;information warfare;Taiwan Strait | 日期: | Jan-2001 | 上傳時間: | 5-Oct-2016 | 摘要: | For more than a decade mainland China`s People`s Liberation Army (PLA) has been modernizing by procuring new weapons systems and altering organizational doctrines and training. Military leaders in China indicate that they will abandon their traditional strategies designed to defeat invaders who cross their borders. Instead, China ought to be able to fight and win a war fought anywhere within a thousand-mile radius. The modernization of the PLA appears to be aimed at deterring an intervention by the United States into a war between the mainland and Taiwan. | 關聯: | Issues & Studies,37(1),102-123 | 資料類型: | article |
