手工具的參與式設計—結合設計實作課程

Abstract

手工具是許多維修行業賴以維生的工具，也是這些專業者發揮創意的畫筆。然而，人因工程學者王茂駿(1996)針對手工具使用與累積性工作傷害的研究指出：高度專業分工的工作型態使得累積性工作傷害的發生急遽增加；而其中有相當大部分是由於操作手工具所造成的。可見手工具設計必須改進。 另一方面，為落實設計教育學者Yalman等人(2015)提倡與使用者合作設計（co-design）的理念，本研究在大學二年級的基本產品設計課程中，以工作坊的方式進行參與式設計（participatory design）。邀請機車維修師、汽車維修師、自行車維修師以及三位水電師傅共同合作手工具設計。並結合手工具製造商以及專業設計師提供諮詢、協同教學，觀察使用者、設計師以及生產方三者如何溝通、對話，以促進參與式設計成為企業產品開發流程中的步驟。 For professional repairmen, handtools are not only the tools for living but also the painting brush for the work. However, the research conducted by ergonomist Wang ,Mao Jun indicates that the frequency of cumulative occupational injuries has skyrocketed due to high specialization of work. A considerable percentage results from handtool use. The statistics suggests that there is large room for improvement on handtool design.
