摘要: 透過無所不在(ubiquitous Learning, u-Learning)的學習服務,師生可以真正突破時空間限制隨時進行教學活動。目前國內常見輕便型行動裝置如Pocket PC,SmartPhone,Pocket PC Phone等設備,雖然具有絕佳的可攜性與行動性,對於無所不在的學習活動可以提供優良的支援,但是在使用者界面部份卻常常因為其嬌小的硬體設計的特殊性而存在著相當的侷限性,造成了學習資源在製作與展示以及使用上的困難,嚴重影響了輕便型行動裝置在無所不在的學習所應當發揮的功能。本文中提出了一個基於 Pocket PC 之無所不在的學習系統設計,克服前述輕便型行動裝置在應用上所面臨的窘境,並為輕便型行動裝置在無所不在的教學活動的應用上提供簡易可行的操作模型。
The Internet and wireless technology in general, offers education institutions new opportunities to improve learning, the campus community and the entire student experience. The recent evolution of u-campus (ubiquitous campus) infrastructure further enhances the educational technologies by integrating teaching, learning, and technology seamlessly, increasing in the amount and type of technology resources that are available to instructors and learners. The use of mobile device like Pocket PC is part of u-learning (ubiquitous learning). This paper presents the application of Pocket PC at Cheng Shiu University to meet the needs of students who have time and place constraints related to taking university classes requires thinking outside the box for content delivery by downloading Macromedia Flash files with the big picture of concept.
