dc.description.abstract為防止大範圍災難的發生影響企業的運作,企業大多把重要的資料複製至遠端區域保存,若原有儲存設備遭受重大損壞時,企業仍可透過遠端設備維持平日正常的營運。但眾多的研究報告指出Mirror最大的挑戰是在於WAN環境上的執行能力,若傳輸延遲時間過大則將嚴重拖緩Remote Mirror的效率。本篇論文另行提出一個iLVM的Remote Backup管理機制,藉由Mirror Agent探測Local Site與數個Remote Site間讀寫傳輸速率,再依探測結果為Local Site打造出最佳的虛擬儲存裝置,Local Site的系統可藉此將資料分散至數個Remote Site進行備份保存。
