摘要: 國立台灣大學致力於研發網路教學管理平台多年,歷經不斷的改良及配合本校教務及人事資訊系統運作,目前穩定發展及使用中的版本為CEIBA4(https://ceiba.ntu.edu.tw)。CEIBA4非同步課程教學輔助系統的設計,是為了讓教師能夠利用系統所提供的各項功能,在簡便的操作環境中,完成課程網頁的設立與編輯。另一方面,CEIBA4亦能讓學生不受時間、空間的限制,隨時進入課程網頁中瀏覽課程內容,並提供如討論看板、作業上傳、下載及線上聊天室等功能,擴充了原本課堂之外師生之間的互動管道。\n從2003年10月上線截至2005年7月為止,本教學平台上之課程網頁總造訪人次約為59萬人次。本論文著重在分享教學平台開發之系統架構,系統維護之安全議題,最後呈現系統使用分析結果,並探討提升本教學管理平台之效能及未來發展方向。
For years, National Taiwan University has been making great efforts in researching and developing a web-based instructional management system — CEIBA (Collaborative Enhanced Instruction By Asynchronous Learning). The system is currently in its fourth version and operating steadily, after going through an iterative revision process and continuously coordinating with the operation of related information systems in academic affairs and human resources. To support teaching and learning asynchronously, the design of CEIBA 4 is targeted to provide a platform for instructors to build and edit the course contents more easily and to take full advantages of available instructional functions. On the other hand, CEIBA 4 not only enables students to browse through the course materials anytime and anywhere they like, but also provides with various tools, such as discussion forum, assignment submission and download, and chat room, etc., to broaden the channel of interaction between instructors and students outside the classroom.\nFrom October 2003 to July 2005, the number of course website visits is approximately 590 thousands in total. This study presents the architecture of the instructional management system development and the security issues of its maintenance; as well as results of system us age analysis. Finally, it discusses how to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the system for future development.
