接続詞「ジャ」の使用条件について

Abstract

本稿は接続詞の使用条件をモダリティとの共起制限という観点から考察したものである。ソレデハ、ソレジャ（ア）、デハ、ジャ（ア）などを含む「デハ」類の接続詞のうち、用法が最も広いと思われる「ジャ」を例に、意思表示、応答、事象描写、感情・感覚表現、推論表現との共起関係の分析を試みた。その結果、ジャの使用条件として、「即時性」「前件依存性」と前件に対する「話者の情報非優位性」の3点が必要であることが確認された。さらに、「～ものだ」「～たっけ」「～だろう」「～た」「～ようだ」「～らしい」「～そうだ」などの成分との共起関係の検証を通し、三つの条件を揃えてはじめてジャの使用が可能になることを確認した。本稿透過一個接續詞可以或不可以與何種句末型態共起，來考察接續詞的使用條件。「デハ」類的接續詞包含了ソレデハ，ソレジャ（ア），デハ，ジャ（ア）等，其中「ジャ」的用法最為廣泛，筆者於是便選擇以「ジャ」為例，分析了「ジャ」與意志表現、應答、事象描寫、感情・感覺表現、推論表現等句末型態的共起關係。推論，使用「ジャ」時必須具備有「即時性」「前件依存性」以及對前件的「說話者的資訊非優位性」。並再藉檢測「ジャ」與「～ものだ」「～たっけ」「～だろう」「～た」「～ようだ」「～らしい」「～そうだ」等成份的共起關係，證明確實必須三個條件皆備「ジャ」的使用才能成立。｜The purpose of this thesis is to check the compatibility of conjunctions with modality types. A group of Dewa conjunctions, including Sorewa, Soreja, Dewa, and Ja. This thesis will take Ja as an example and test how it can combine with other modality words: to express one`s intention reply, factual descriptions feeling expressions, and reasoning expressions This paper concluded that the conditions for using Ja were:(1) It is used in statements of immediately responses. (2) It is dependent on the previous context of the conversation. (3) It is used when the speaker knows no more information about the previous context than the listeners. And these hypotheses have been tested with the following morphemes monoda. darou -ta you da Ta si and so uda. It was confirmed that Ja could not be used beyond the three limitations mentioned above.
