科技、真實、和新聞攝影的變與不變：以近五年國內外三種重要新聞攝影比賽之得獎作品為分析案例

Abstract

攝影機具和技術的改變，也改變著攝影對現實的再現方式與可能內容，而網路科技對使用與傳遞 攝影影像，也產生了巨大的變革。新聞攝影在科技巨變的時代裡，是否因為受到衝擊而有對本身 之專業機制的相應思考與變革，以及，它的思與變在多大的程度、表現在哪些面向上，是本計畫 希望研究與發現的重點。本計畫以2011-2015 年荷蘭的「世界新聞攝影大賽」（World Press Photo）， 與國內的「卓越新聞獎」、「吳舜文新聞獎」等三項國內外最具權威性的重要新聞獎的攝影類得獎 作品為分析對象，試圖理解在近年攝影器材和影像傳播的劇烈的變化之中，新聞攝影這個行業的 變與不變，究竟表現在哪些地方，以及它的「不變」意味著什麼。

Changes in photographic gadgets and accompanied techniques have affected changes in photographic representation of realities. Meanwhile, drastic changes in utilizing and circulating photographic images have occurred due to a dramatic alteration in web technological advancement. This research proposal aims at a study on the current situation of mainstream photojournalism under this technological impact, and investigates if/how photojournalism’s professional claim to realities has changed, and to which degree did such a change take place. The research project would analyze the award-winning photographs from the most renowned international and domestic competitions such as World Press Photo in Holland, Excellent Journalism Award, and Vivian Wu Journalism Award. By these analyses, the project endeavors to provide a critical understanding on the changes and its unchangingness of today’s photojournalism, and possible explanations or implications of its changelessness.
