Abstract: Small school is one of the recently most popular issues of educational administration. However, how the schools utterly exhausted from keeping facing the disadvantage of “urbanization” and “low birth rate” carry out school innovation and development, and under the development, search for school position, ensure school survival, enhance education quality and bring schools sustainable development, are the emphases the first-line educators and local governments concern about. In this study, the innovation management model of the U.S. KIPP schools was taken as an example to study feasible strategies for the innovative operation of Taiwan’s small schools, which is provided as reference for the innovative operation of small schools and educational administrative units.
小型學校是近來教育行政的熱門議題之一,但成日面對「都市化」與「少子化」劣勢而焦頭爛額的學校,如何進行學校創新與發展,在發展中如何追尋學校定位,確保學校生存,提升教育品質,讓學校能永續發展,是身處第一線的教育工作者與地方政府關切之重點。本研究借鏡美國KIPP學校的創新經營模式以探究臺灣小型學校創新經營的可行策略,並提供小型學校創新經營及教育行政單位參考。
