dc.description.abstract本文擬對大陸經濟發展的區域化的理論基礎與政經環境作一定性研究。 -
This paper provides a qualitative analysis of China’s regional economic development. Modern regional development theories are first concisely summarized and the emerging regional economies in China are described. After reviewing China’s major development policies towards regionalization and by investigating results from existing literature of China’s regional economies, the author suggests that there will be nine metropolitan economies with relative independent industrial and market structures emerging in Mainland China. Being China’s future growth poles, these metropolis as will lead the Chinese economy into an age of pluralistic economic growth. China’s neighboring economies of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao may largely benefit from actively participating in China’s economic regionalization. Two companion papers provide quantitative analyses with detailed statistical data to support views suggested in this paper.-
