大學圖書館網站內容分析

Abstract

本研究旨在分析我國五所大學圖書館和美國六所大學圖書館網站的設計及所提供的服務項目，探討其異同，介紹個別特色，進而提出綜合討論。研究之結果顯示：大學圖書館網站任務主要在支援教學與研究，服務對象涵蓋教職員生及一般訪客。網站服務項目可歸納為資訊檢索、圖書館導覽、參考服務、電子出版品、網路資源及其他六項，提供的服務項目相當多元。整體而言，國內外網站均相當重視網站資訊的維護與更新，但國外網站的規劃設計較著重使用者導向。

In this paper, five websites of university libraries in Taiwan and six in United States are content analyzed, the similarities and differences in mission-orientation, design, and service delivery, are compared. The result indicates that the websites of university libraries in U.S. are more user-oriented than websites in Taiwan. And the services delivered on the websites are very diverse and up-to-date both in U.S. and in Taiwan.
