Cannabis has a long history in human society, mankind has been growing and using cannabis since 10,000 years ago. Cannabis is an important economic and medicinal plant in human society for thousands of years. Its fiber can be used in industry, textiles, paper and even construction; its seeds can be used for oil, food, and feed; its flowers and leaves contain cannabinoids with important medical and recreational purpose. It can be used as whole-plant and is considered to be one of the most versatile and well-known plants in the world.\n\nThe topic "Cannabis in Taiwan: Cure or Conundrum?" has multiple meanings. As the topic suggests, this reportage is meant to explore the "cure" and "conundrum" aspects of cannabis in Taiwan society.\n\n"Cannabis in Taiwan: Cure or Conundrum?" divided into two parts: the introduction of creation and the main text of the multi-media reportage. The introduction of the creation includes the origin of writing, literature discussion and topic background, analysis of cannabis-related documentaries, books and report, creation techniques and story materials. The main texts of the reportage then divided into two major aspects: "Cannabis Issues" and "Cannabis Characters". The odd-numbered articles are "Cannabis Issues", all of them are titled "Green". The even-numbered articles are "Cannabis Characters", all of them are titled "I". "Cannabis Characters" interviewed four people, the first two were presented with multi-media reports and the last two were presented with short films. The reportage mix the first-person stories of "Cannabis Characters" with the discussion on "Cannabis Issues", thereby giving vividity and literary features to the reportage.
