The purpose of this study is to explore the needs and use suggestions of undergraduates for the development bibliotherapeutic service area in the university library. The research objectives include (1) Understanding the emotional problems of undergraduates and the pipeline for finding emotional healing books. (2) Exploring the needs and views of undergraduates on the library development bibliotherapy therapy service area. (3) Understand the use and suggestions of undergraduates on the implementation of the developmental bibliotherapeutic service area of the library. (4) Exploring the use and suggestions of undergraduates on the use of the library to build a therapeutic material network platform.\n\nIn the research design, this study adopts a qualitative research method to conduct semistructured interviews with 20 university students of Tsing Hua University who have used the Bibliotherapy Service Area (Refreshing Corner) in Nanda Branch Library of National Tsing Hua University. The most common emotional distress problem for respondents is the problem of academic work. In the face of emotional distress, respondents will use psychological self-help books at most. In addition, when respondents look for emotional healing books, most of them use the library as a conduit for searching. Based on the research, the main reasons for respondents` & undergraduates using the library`s collection resources to find suitable healing books in the library are to save money, convenience and direct access to the shelf. Moreover, the most frequently encountered difficulty for respondents to access a healing book in the library is the long waiting period to borrow the book. Therefore, respondents believe that setting up a developmental bibliotherapeutic service area can help find a healing book, and at the same time, it is agreed that it is necessary for university library to set up a developmental bibliotherapeutic service area.\n\nAccording to the research, the respondents most often use the area as a space for rest and spiritual precipitation, and the psychological self-help book is the type of data that is used by the respondents at most. In the space design and equipment placement of the library`s developmental bibliotherapeutic service area, the respondents suggested that the color of the area can be light or warm, wooden floor or carpet to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The respondents recommended that the books in the special area could be classified according to the emotional distressing issues, and the cover of book could be added the color in order to affix the function of the book`s spiritual inspiration & the reading policy of the special library`s limitation. In addition, respondents suggested that the developmental bibliotherapeutic service can use book fairs, film appreciation, speeches and other activities and use social networking platforms to strengthen publicity and promotion.\n\nIn the use of the library to build a healing material network platform, the respondents believe that the healing material network platform is helpful to find emotional healing books, and at the same time, the library has set up a healing material network. The platform can be a reference resource for selecting healing materials. In terms of suggestions on the Internet platform, respondents believe that the website of the healing material website can also design some interactive functions or activities in addition to the problem-solving books of the emotional healing books. Also the layout of platform can refer to popular internet book store , and the webpage can be based on the image-based retrieval method, which makes the design of the website more friendly and friendly, and attracts more readers.\n\nFinally, based on the research results, the following suggestions are proposed for the university library: (1) setting up a developmental bibliotherapeutic service area as a space for students to heal; and (2) building a therapeutic material network platform as a student to find healing materials & resource reference; (3) Strengthening the promotion and publicity activities of developmental bibliotherapeutic services through multiple channels; (4) Establishing a reading club for university libraries to develop librarians` reading habits and reading ability;(5) Encouraging university librarians to participate in development bibliotherapeutic service course.
