dc.description.abstract | More and more environmental pollution has aroused wide public concern; even some pollution has threatened the human being’s healthy and existence. This problem becomes more and more serious in the urban and it results in some research on the urban sustainable development. The evaluation system for the urban sustainability is a key topic. This paper bases on the theory of sustainable development, through the analysis of environmental and socio-economic status, then establishes an index system of the urban sustainable development capacity. Then this paper uses AHP method to determine the weight of each index in the evaluation system and orders the importance of every index to the urban sustainable development capacity. The study result shows that the economic development is the most important to the urban ability of sustainable development among the selected indexes—nature resource abundance, environment quality and economic development. | |
