江戸における文雅人名録刊行までの経緯（一）―明和6年(1769)の『古今諸家人物志』の書誌学的検討―

Abstract

「文雅人名錄」完成於日本近世（江戶）後期。研究「文雅人名錄」對江戶時代的智識階層能有一定程度的暸解， 因此必須弄清楚究竟「文雅人名錄」是如何編制完成的， 因為暸解其原委方能明白「文雅人名錄」的史料價值。本稿是研究「文雅人名錄」的第一個單元。 具體而言本文是針對明和六年（ 1769） 江戶時代， 所刊行的『古今諸家人物志』其出版者、編者及記載內容加以研究分析。得出以下二個結論： (1)記載內容集中在當代己故者身上，對於當代人物的記載不夠完全，而且在各不同學派中有關當代人物的記載又依出版者的偏好而有所限制。 (2)與出版者的交誼密切與否會直接影響到記載內容，因此本文無法全面掌握江戶時代智識階層之全貌。 因此透過『古今諸家人物志』來對十八世紀中期的江戶時代的智識階層進行分析研究會出現不完整性。 The purpose of this report is to make it clear on what was the circumstance when the ‘Bungajinmeiroku ’s were published. And I hope to identify its historical value for the research of intellectual society in Edo period. In chapter 1, I analyzed the publishers, editor and contents of the ‘Kokonsyokajinbutushi’ published on 1769. I found two points. 1. the ‘Kokonsyokajinbutushi’s contained mainly former intellectuals, not so many living intellectuals at that time were included. 2. For those included living intellectuals, they were mostly constricted by the preference of publishers. So it is hard to say that those living intellectuals could not represent the whole intellectual society at that time. Therefor, it is not enough for us by using ‘Kokonsyokajinbutushi’ to analyze the intellectual society in Edo on mid 18th century.
