Title: 大學校史館網站內容資訊架構之研究

Abstract: 大學校史館網站幾乎成為網路時代,大眾認識校史館的第一印象,扮演著提供使用者資訊的角色,而網站要吸引使用者,首重良好的資訊架構及豐富內容,依據過往文獻曾指出校史館人力不足問題,而建構校史網站通常需耗費許多人力與時間,故本研究期望探討國內大學校史網站核心內容及資訊架構,以提供網站設計規劃與內容管理者參考,期能節省校史網站建置之時間及人力。
本研究透過「內容分析法」瞭解43所大學校史網站之核心導覽列標籤及底層標籤內容;請使用者進行小類歸屬大類之「卡片分類法」實驗,藉此結果產生網站架構圖;並透過「訪談法」瞭解使用者進行分類過程之思考模式及對校史網站設計時需注意之因素提出建議。
本研究結果顯示,依內容分析歸納出核心導覽列主題有12大類,而核心底層標籤內容為58小類;校史網站組織架構廣度平均數介於7-8項,而階層深度為2-3層;標籤命名宜清晰、涵義及範圍不應重複,應有互斥性;校史網站設計時需注重因素包含:重視網頁視覺設計、簡明好用的網站功能及版面設計、網站架構廣度及層級需注意不要過多、標籤命名需留意要定義清楚、網頁內容要注意應提供豐富而可呈現校史網站特色之资訊、網站設計要能與使用者互動、網站需留意保持正常運作及安全性維護。
本研究根據結果提出四點建置校史網站內容及資訊架構之建議:一、導覽列標籤命名風格應有系統性並以使用者角度做思考;二、校史網站組織架構廣度以7-8項為宜,階層深度以2-3層為主;三、 定期更新維護網站內容;四、 建置新網站或修改舊網站可請使用者試用並給予改善建議。
The University Archive website has almost become the public’s first impression of the University Archive which plays a role in providing information for the user and having a good information structure and rich content to attract them is crucial. The construction of a University Archive website usually takes a lot of manpower and time, however, the past records had pointed out the problem of insufficient manpower in the University Archive. Therefore, this research hopes to discuss the core content and information structure to provide website design planning and content management for reference and save time and manpower for the establishment of the University Archive.
This research uses the "content analysis method" to understand the core navigation label and bottom label content of 43 university history websites. Users are asked to conduct a "card sorting experiment" in which the subcategories belong to the major categories, and the results are used to generate a site structure diagram. And through the "interview method" to understand the user's thinking mode of the classification process and make suggestions on the factors that need to be paid attention to when designing the University Archive website.
The results of this research show that, based on content analysis, it is concluded that there are 12 categories of core navigation topics, while the core bottom label content has 58 subcategories; the average number of University Archive website organizational structure spans is between 7-8 items, and the level depth is 2-3 layers; label naming should be clear, meaning and scope should not be repeated and should be mutually exclusive. The design of the University Archive website should pay attention to factors including the value of web visual design, concise and easy-to-use website functions and layout design, website structure breadth and not have too many levels, the label naming should be clearly defined, the content of the webpage should be provided with rich information that can present the characteristics of the University Archive website, the website design should be able to interact with users, and the website should be maintained normal operation and security maintained.
Based on the results, this research puts forward four suggestions for establishing the content and information structure of the school history website: 1. The navigation bar label naming style should be systematic and think from the perspective of users. 2. The organizational structure of the University Archive website should be 7- 8items, and the hierarchy depth is mainly 2-3 layers. 3. Regularly update and maintain the content of the website. 4. Build a new website or modify an old website. Users can try it out and give suggestions for improvement.
