dc.description.abstractAs a marketer works in insurance industry, the changes in recent years are very exciting. Financial service is no longer cold or just full of numbers. The combination of financial service and technology brings more flexibility, convenience, personalized users experience. Insurers can provide better product and service to customers through the technology.\r\nThis thesis utilizes secondary data analysis to demonstrate current InsurTech development in Taiwan. Through the sales performance on online insurance, this thesis argues the challenges and difficulties on developing InsurTech. The comparison between local and foreign insures illustrate the different strategy and resource of two companies. Despite the current circumstances, digitization and InsurTech are still the inevitable trend for incumbent insurers. In line with the direction, this thesis identified the opportunities and challenges for insurers.en_US
