孔子學院的海外危機及其原因探析

Abstract

孔子學院在快速發展十餘年之後遭遇海外危機，外界對中國大陸政府開辦孔子學院的目的提出各種質疑。本文以事實列舉孔子學院海外危機的種種表現，通過宏觀和微觀層面的全面分析揭示孔子學院引發海外危機的深層原因即中國大陸政府在建設和運營孔子學院過程中產出的問題，並對改善孔子學院和大陸的軟實力戰略提出相應的對策建議。

Confucius Institutes are facing a crisis overseas after having experienced more than ten years of rapid growth. The outside world is suspicious of the Chinese government`s intentions for establishing Confucius Institutes. This study empirically examines the performances of Confucius Institutes when they face crises overseas and the reasons for these crises through macro- and micro- analyses. It identifies the problems faced by China when establishing and managing Confucius Institutes. Also, it provides useful suggestions for improving the operation of Confucius Institutes and China`s soft power strategy.
