漆原友紀のマンガ『蟲師』〈沖つ宮〉における時空間の構造－「竜宮」をめぐって－

Abstract

漆原友紀の代表作である『蟲師』は ; マンガ関連の賞を数多く受けた作品である。そして ; 本論で取り上げる〈沖つ宮〉は ; 各巻に短編5話が収録される講談社版の単行本に ; 第5巻の第１話として登場する。また ; シリーズのタイトルである「蟲師」とは ; 「異類」と位置づけられる「蟲」が引き起こす ; もしくは引き起こした問題の解決を生業とする者のことで ; 主人公のギンコもその一人である。〈沖つ宮〉は ; ある島において営まれる「生みなおし」という特殊な風習の調査に赴いたギンコによって展開される。「生みなおし」とは ; いわば ; 現在のクローン技術のようなもので ; こうしたことがいともたやすく行われる不思議な漁村を舞台に ; 主人公の母娘は「死と生」をどう捉え ; どのような選択をしたのかが ; 主要なテーマとなっている。つまり ; 〈沖つ宮〉は ; 生きた時間の意味を問いつつ ; 愛する人の死という喪失を回避することが ; もし ; 自由に「選択」できるならば ; 我々は ; どのような選択や判断を下すのかといった ; 「人」の行動に焦点を当てた作品である。本論は ; 上述した点を念頭に ; フォークロアにおける異界．異人の概念から ; 本作において ; 再生を引き起こす仕掛けとしての「竜宮」の重層的な意味構造と ; 主人公のイニシエーションを読み解くものである。

《蟲師》是漆原友紀的代表作，獲得了許多與漫畫有關的獎項。講談社版的單行本中每本收錄5則短篇，而「海之殿」則被收錄於第5卷的第1篇。成為系列作書名的「蟲師」指的是處理或解決由「異類」的「蟲」所引起的現象 ; 並藉此賴以為生的職業，而主角銀古也是其中之一。銀古為了調查一個叫做「うみなおし（重生）」的特殊風俗而造訪某個小島，為「海之殿」的故事揭開序幕。如同現代克隆技術的「うみなおし」在這個神秘的漁村中日常地發生 ; 此一環境下，主角的母女如何看待“死亡與生命”，而她們又做了什麼樣的選擇？「海之殿」一方面探討活著的時間意義，一方面如果能夠自由“選擇”避免所愛之人的死亡，那我們將做出何種決定？諸如上述，本作探討面臨此問題時，「人」形成鮮明對比的抉擇行為。本研究透過民俗學中異界與異人的概念，來解析引起再生的裝置“龍宮”的多層意義結構，並分析主角的試煉：再生的構造。

Mushishi is Yuki Urushihara`s representative work that has won many awards related to manga. ＂Shrine in the Sea＂ is collected as the first episode of the fifth volume. The story of ＂Shrine in the Sea＂ begins with Ginko`s visit to one island to investigate the unique custom called Uminaoshi that is rebirth. Uminaoshi like the current cloning technology easily happens as usual in the mysterious fishing village. The mother and daughter, protagonists, living in the village face how to perceive the meaning of death and life, and what choices did they make? ＂Shrine in the Sea＂ discusses the meaning of time to be alive and what choices we would make if we are free to prevent the death of the loved one. This episode looks into the question of making choices by contrast by human behavior. In addition to the above problems, this research will analyze the multilayered semantic structure of the dragon palace in which rebirth causes and the concepts of foreigners and otherworld in folklore, and the protagonists training development in this episode.
