| Abstract: | 本書旨於反省現階段臺灣文學史中「新舊文學對立」的斷裂史觀，試圖將日治時期的臺灣視為一個全球化下的新興文化場域，以此觀察進入二十世紀後，現代情境如何促使本地傳統文人形塑出新感覺意向與新自覺姿態，並嘗試說明其人所經歷的文化跨界意識型態平衡�重組，以及文學想像�美學實踐轉化肆應的複雜面貌；而得以在常見的標舉傳統社群的反殖民抵抗精神，或抨擊為不知趨新的故陋封建者，如此褒貶不一的悖論評價外，提供另一種貼近重讀這段文學歷史的方法。 |
