Abstract:	一份有著輝煌業績，曾經是聯合報系金雞母的報紙，為什麼會衰敗到關門的地步？本個案研究就《民生報》由興盛到停刊歷程，閱讀優勢、市場競爭力衰退，終至難以脫困等事實，探究其衰敗的原因，並進一步省思台灣報業共同遭遇的課題。研究採文獻分析與訪談方式進行。
