臺灣地區歷史學研究的量化考察：以政府機構與研究機構刊行歷史學相關期刊為分析對象(1945-2000)

Abstract

1945-2000 年臺灣地區的歷史學研究，主要內容為何，關注點為何，是\r\n許多歷史學工作者關心的課題。1945 年以後臺灣地區史學主要受到五方面的\r\n影響：一、日治時期的遺風；二、中國大陸史學的傳承；三、西方史學的輸\r\n入；四、歷史學術社群內部對史學的思考；五、政治、社會等外緣因素對史\r\n學動向的影響。在各種史學彼此交互影響下，臺灣史學呈顯了多樣化的風\r\n貌。面對這種多樣貌的史學發展，史學工作者雖時有論文述及，但全面性的\r\n研究則未之見。\r\n 臺灣史學一面承襲日治時期遺留下來的傳統，一面繼承第一代來臺大陸\r\n學者的學風，同時也受到西方史學輸入的影響，加上歷史學術社群內部對史\r\n學的思考，以及政治、社會等外緣因素對史學動向的影響，可謂多方交會、\r\n系出多元。而欲探索臺灣地區 1945 年以後史學發展的進程，可以就個別史\r\n家，學術機構，專著，博、碩士論文和學術期刊等進行分析。\r\n 歷史學期刊主要的功能在於快速傳播新知與交流學術意見，本文選政府\r\n機構與研究機構刊行歷史學相關期刊為對象，分析其內容取向及關注課題，\r\n配合計量分析，探索 1945-2000 年間臺灣地區史學發展的趨勢。

Many historians in Taiwan have long been concerned with the questions of the\r\ncontents, dimension, and foci of historical works during the period 1945-2000. After\r\n1945 five factors influence historiography in Taiwan: first, the Japanese legacy; second,\r\napproaches adopted by scholars from Mainland China; third, Western ideas of history;\r\nfourth, historians’ reflections on historical writing; and fifth, socio-political change. Due\r\nto these five factors, the development of historiography in Taiwan shows diversities.\r\nAlthough some scholars have contributed to this topic, a full-scale research is still\r\nindispensable.\r\n As mentioned previously, because of the influence of those five factors, the\r\nhistoriography in Taiwan presents various facets. By studying individual scholars,\r\nacademic institutions, monographs, master theses, doctoral dissertations, and papers in\r\nhistory periodicals shall shed some light on the trends of historiography over the years.\r\n Due mainly to the unusual functions of historical periodicals in spreading the new\r\nconcepts of history, this study will focus on the topics and content of papers in history\r\njournals published by research institutions and government during this period. I shall\r\nconduct quantitative, and qualitative as well, analyses in my research, so that we can\r\nhave a broader, deeper understanding of historical trends of historiography in Taiwan.
