2010世界價值觀調查─台灣

Abstract

世界價值觀調查是一項跨國合作的研究調查案，在國際學界享有盛譽。本計畫擬賡續2005年中研院參與世界價值觀調查的努力，秉持創造學術公共財貨的精神，除希望提倡國內嚴謹調查的學術風氣，提供學界珍貴的實證資料，並期待透過跨國比較資料的蒐集，積極參與國際學術合作，提供國內學者與國際學界互動的機會，並引領華文學術能量的發展。自上次調查之後，台灣經歷二次政黨輪替、兩岸關係緩和、經濟上遭受金融危機的打擊並從谷底翻升等重要政治經濟發展，是否牽動許多基本價值的變化，值得關注。本調查將委託政治大學選舉研究中心執行，問卷設計、抽樣、以及訪談資料的蒐集、編碼，都將遵循「世界價值觀調查學會」所訂定的規則進行，確保調查資料的品質，俾利跨國比較。調查結果也將依照規約及慣例，儘快釋出，供全球研究者使用。 World Value Survey is an internationally prestigious project that creates intellectual public goods for comparative studies. Its cross-cultural comparison and long-term tracing data enjoys distinguished niche in pointing out the development of fundamental values and their interactions on political and social development. Taiwan as the representative of East-Asian Confucius Culture should not be absent in this project. Ever since the efforts of Academia Sinica team in 2005, Taiwan has experienced second alternation of ruling party, alleviation of cross-strait stress, and financial crisis. How these exogenous factors have impacts on the values, or reversely how the values have contributed to the paths of these development, deserve close scrutiny. This branch project will follow all the rules set by the international headquarter and will be carried out by the Election Study Center of National Chengchi University to assure the best quality.
