老人的社會參與--以活動參與為例：從人力資本和社會參與能力探討

Abstract

高齡化社會裡，鼓勵成功老化與活躍老化。成功老化乃基於三個要素：避免失能(avoidance of disability )，維持身體的功能(maintenance of physical function)以及積極投入生活(active engagement with life)。換言之，積極的社會參與，以強壯體能、降低失能，保持與社會的連結將是老人生活的重點。本研究目的在探討老人活動據點成立的背景、過程和策略；並企圖探討老人參與活動的可能影響因素。本研究將分為兩個階段：第一階段探討老人活動據點的成立動機、運作策略及其與老人參與活動的關聯，並分別針對據點的負責人、據點裡的老人以及老服中心負責的工作員進行八個焦點團體。第二階段將探討老人參與活動的可能影響因素。本研究採用人力資本理論和社會參與完成度來了解活動的參與。將訪談320 位實際參加活動的老人。研究結果可以提供做為老人活動據點展點之建議，並藉由社會參與行為的了解，對老人的參與加強和訓練。

In an ageing society, the concept of successful ageing and active ageing are emphasized. Three components of successful ageing include：avoidance of disability, maintenance of physical function and active engagement with life. Social participation is thus important as a way of involvement in social life. In this study, activity participation as a form of social participation is investigated. The purpose of the study is to analyze the establishment, process and strategies of activity spot for the elderly in Taipei, and furthermore, its relationship with the participation of activity among the older people. The other purpose is to investigate how older people participate in activities and its related factors using human capital theory and social participation performance or accomplishment model. It is a two year plan. In the first year, eight focus groups will be used to collect the qualitative data. In the second year, survey research method including 320 older people will be employed to examine the relationship between human capital, social participation model and activity participation.
