跨世紀總統選舉中選民投票行為科際整合研究

Abstract

本研究係執行國科會「跨世紀總統選舉中選民投票行為科際整合研究」專題研究案(NSC 88-2414-H-004-021-SSS)的分析。本研究的目的有下列數點：(1)了解選民在總統選舉中投票抉擇的影響因素；(2)了解選民政黨認同的變遷，以探知政黨政治在我國的發展；(3)了解族群意識與省籍因素在選舉中的影響程度；(4)探索選民投票行為的穩定性與變動性；(5)驗證過去所發展的選舉預測模式之效果。本研究採電話及面訪兩種訪問方式進行研究。在面訪方面，採分層分段系統抽樣方式抽出4880個樣本，於2000年7-8月進行面訪，實際訪問成功數為1181人。

The purpose of the project is to explore the following problems:(1) to explore the factors affecting voters` choice in the presidential election; (2) to understand the change of voter`s party identification and the development of party politics in Taiwan; (3) to understand the effects of ethnic identity and ethnic background on the voting behavior; (4) to understand the continuities and changes of voters` electoral behavior; (5) to test the effects of forecasting election models.
