描述:	It seems that in the year 2011, which marks the twentieth anniversary since the commencement of regular high-level dialogue between mainland China and the ASEAN, mainland China has successfully exerted its diplomatic influence to water down the possible statement calling for more urgent actions toward the South China Sea territorial dispute in a recent foreign ministers’ meeting with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) held on January 24-25, 2011 in Kunming, Yunnan.
