This study aims at (1) after the player before signing with contract performance whether there are differences? (2) players of performance associated with the player payroll of why? (3) DEA performance value to pay the NBA official performance value to explain whether there is any difference? select between 2000 and a total of 11 years in this study had experienced contract expires and again between plural years contract to pellet a total of 184 players as research samples. This article number complex analysis, no master data analysis and Multivariate regression to measure performance of NBA players. Empirical results found that: (1) the players before and after signing with significant differences. Namely: players before signing a player after signing a better performance. (2) performance better and better players with a higher salary. (3) The Vuong test results reveal that the official NBA efficiency score has a higher association with salary comparing with DEA efficiency score. The finding suggests that the official efficiency score is one of the major references for the NBA teams on salary arbitration.
