Title: Facilitating belief change via computer-supported collaborative knowledge-building

Abstract: In this study, we investigated prospective teacher-education students' belief change in a CSCL environment enabled by knowledge building pedagogy. Data mainly came from a belief survey and students' online discussion. The results indicated that engaging students in collaborative work with knowledge was conducive to making their teaching beliefs become more student-centered. © ISLS.
