題名: | Self-consciousness and immunity | 作者: | Lane, Timothy Joseph;Liang, C. 藍亭 |
貢獻者: | 心智、大腦與學習研究中心 | 日期: | 二月-2011 | 上傳時間: | 29-五月-2015 | 摘要: | The article focuses on the relationship between self-consciousness and philosopher Sydney Shoemaker`s idea on immunity to error through misidentification relative to the first-person pronouns (IEM). The authors outline Shoemaker`s version of IEM along with related concepts central to his understanding of self-consciousness. They argue on the interpretation of IEM as a taulogy and propose to treat it as a hypothesis. A clinical case on somatoparaphrenia is also presented. | 關聯: | Journal of Philosophy, 108(2), 78-99 | 資料類型: | article | DOI: | http://dx.doi.org/10.5840/jphil201110824 |
