Such characteristics impact students' academic success and achievement while contributing to teacher empowerment through professional development, and successful school reformation efforts. Through a qualitative case study, the purpose of this research is to examine the impact of principal leadership upon school culture in a Basic School. Data were focused coding. The implications of this study suggest that the principal is essential in developing the culture of the Basic School. The Basic Elementary School philosophy reflects a collective capacity to continue creating a school that prepares students for the future.
