dc.description.abstract	西南邊疆民族，在我國之「邊疆地區各民族」中；數其族支，幾佔有整個邊疆民族之族支的一小半，計其人口，亦幾佔有全部邊疆民族之人口數字百分比的四十以上。是用綜合西南邊疆民族的（甲）僰撣族系（乙）羅緬族系（丙）孟吉族群，作概括的敘述。其苗傜族系，因為他們的聚居區，是位于「中國版圖內」之「南」，通常以之列做「南支」；所以，本文未予述及。也許？或不免有其罣誤與漏遺；至希讀者予以補正、指教。
