台灣地區生命科學國際會議文獻生產力研究

Abstract

本研究旨在探討1990至2003年台灣地區生命科學國際會議文獻之生產力。利用國際知名生命科學相關資料庫蒐集書目資料。其研究結果歸納如下：1.台灣地區生命科學國際會議文獻發表篇數與作者人數為反比關係；2.台灣地區生命科學作者生產力分佈符合洛卡定律；普萊斯平方根定律與80/20定律不適用於本研究；3.台灣地區生命科學高生產力作者之專長以醫學方面為主；4.作者所屬機構之生產力分佈十分集中；5.生命科學領域之作者普遍以合著方式發表文獻。

The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of international conference literatures on life science in Taiwan, 1990-2003. The results of this study reveal: The number of authors and the literature presents an inverse proportion. The highly publishing author`s major field is medicine. The frequency distributions of the author productivity follow Lotca`s Law and K-S test but not fit in with Price`s Square Root Law and 80/20 Law. The distributions of the authors` affiliations productivity are extremely concentrated. The collaboration is prevalent in the researh of life science in Taiwan.
