The main difference manifests in two aspects: separation of academia and politics in the administrative system, and scientific studies of China in universities. This article examines the origin of Japan’s modern China-studies using the dialectic approach of “discipline/ institute” in order to describe the interaction between “organizational resources/knowledge resources” at that time. |
