dc.description.abstract (摘要) | As more and more interactive data visualization tools emerge, designers need a coincident evaluation method to give timely users` feedback. In this research, we propose a systematic approach to gauge the usability of such tools. Firstly, quantitative data including gaze and mouse movement are collected for statistical analysis. Secondly, user operation is encoded as a sequence for comparison. We describe the mechanism for data analysis on gaze and mouse tracking. Finally, we present understandability, discoverability, usage frequency, and efficiency as indicators to evaluate interactive data visualization tools. © 2016 IEEE. | en_US |
