摘要 網際網路是現代人類影響最大的傳播媒體,其不受時間與空間的限制,將全世界連結在一起。網路技術大量應用在學習上成效卓著,並形成電子學習風潮。許多大學大力發展網路教學,以提供多元學習的機會,並實現終生學習社會的理想。傳統大學圖書館主要支援大學教學、研究、推廣與服務等活動,在面臨大學網路教學風潮,對於大學圖書館帶來什麼改變?本論文旨在探討網路教學對於大學圖書館服務的影響,主要研究的課題有四:其一,什麼是網路教學?它的意義與內涵為何?其二,大學發展網路教學的情形為何?網路教學對於大學教育有什麼新意?學習者為誰?其有什麼樣的特質與需要?其三,網路教學對大學圖書館有什麼影響?圖書館在網路教學的角色為何?其四,圖書館要為網路教學課程與學習者提供什麼樣的服務?是否有別於一般傳統服務?本論文希望在上述課題尋找答案,以提供我國大學圖書館參考。 The article mainly discusses new roles and services of university libraries facing web-based instruction popular in universities. The research investigates the definition, content and features of web-based instruction and how it has influence on the higher education. Distant learners of web-based instruction need more services and resources of university libraries than on-campus students. Under such circumstance, besides supporting teaching, research, outreach, and services, university libraries have new roles and begin participating in teaching of universities. The article elaborates the three new services developed by universities libraries in digital learning environment, that is, providing distance learning library services, implementing web-based information literacy program, and building digital library learning system.
