摘要 本研究從公共圖書館角度探討國內圖書館提供身心障礙者健康資訊之資源與服務,以及瞭解館員對於提供健康資訊服務之專業知能與繼續教育需求,並透過研究結果發現的現況與困境,提出具體建議,期望提供未來公共圖書館推動健康資訊服務之參考。 本研究採用問卷調查法與深度訪談法,以文獻探討為基礎,根據研究問題與研究目的設計調查問卷與訪談大綱,問卷調查對象以國內縣市級以上公共圖書館為對象,並邀請七位曾經或目前任職於公共圖書館之館員進行訪談。研究結果顯示: 一、身障讀者健康資訊資源類型多元,但缺乏整理組織。 二、身障讀者較少於圖書館諮詢健康相關問題;健康相關推廣活動的形式以電影聽賞活動與工作坊為主,主題則包含日常健康保健、疾病預防與照護、藥物資訊、健康照護系統或服務等內容。 三、館員在提供健康資訊服務時的困難,包含缺乏相關知識背景、缺乏教育訓練、現有館藏資源不足、擔心法律與隱私問題、不清楚可參考資源、無法理解讀者問題、缺乏人力與經費、館舍空間不足以及活動反映不佳等問題。 四、館員熟悉館內的健康資訊資源,但缺乏評估與過濾健康資源之能力,也不瞭解相關讀者健康資訊需求,對於相關倫理守則僅有粗淺的概念。 五、館員對於健康資訊服務繼續教育的意願很高,期望能學習到相關知識與技能。 根據研究結果本研究分別針對公共圖書館營運狀況、健康資訊服務規劃與推廣以及健康資訊服務專業知能繼續教育三方面提供建議: 一、營運狀況方面:制定圖書館健康資訊服務相關指引、延攬志工彌補人力不足狀況。 二、健康資訊服務規劃與推廣方面:加強組織整理身心障礙健康相關資訊資源、強化不同領域合作單位交流、開展多元健康資訊服務形式。 三、健康資訊服務專業知能繼續教育方面:規劃圖書館員健康資訊服務專業化、加強圖書館員健康資訊服務專業知能培訓。
This research aims to study health information services for people with disabilities in public libraries in Taiwan from the perspective of public libraries as well as the professional competencies and continuing education needs of public librarians in providing health information services. The research refers to explores the current situation and dilemmas health information services in order to offer concrete proposals for public libraries to promote health information services. The research adopts questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews methods. Based on the literature reviews, the questionnaire and interview outline are designed according to the research questions and research purposes. The subject of questionnaire survey includes public libraries at the county and city level and above in Taiwan. Seven librarians who have worked or currently work in public libraries were invited to conduct interviews. The research led to the following conclusions: 1. Health information resources for disabled readers are diversified, but lack of organization. 2. Readers with disabilities are less likely to consult health-related issues in libraries. Health information promotion activities for disabled readers are mainly in the form of movie listening activities and workshops, and the themes include daily health care, disease prevention and care, drug information, health care system and so on. 3. Difficulties faced by librarians when providing health information services include lack of relevant knowledge, lack of education and training, insufficient collections, concerns about legal and privacy issues, confusion about available reference resources, inability to understand readers' questions, lack of manpower and funding, insufficient space in the library, and poor response to programs. 4. Librarians are familiar with health information resources in the library, but they lack the ability to evaluate health resources, and they don’t understand health information needs of patrons, and they only have a shallow concept of related ethical codes. 5. Librarians have a high desire for continuing education in health information services and expect to learn relevant knowledge and skills. According to the results of the study, the research offers recommendations on the operation of public libraries, the planning and promotion of health information services, and the continuing education of professional knowledge on health information services. 1. Operation: Develop guidelines for health information services in libraries, and recruit volunteers to make up for the shortage of manpower. 2. Health information service planning and promotion: Strengthening the organization and sorting of health information resources on disabilities, enhancing exchanges among different cooperation units, and developing diversified forms of health information services. 3. Continuing education on professional knowledge of health information services: planning the professionalization of health information services for librarians and strengthening the training of librarians on professional knowledge of health information services.

dc.description.abstract (摘要) 本研究從公共圖書館角度探討國內圖書館提供身心障礙者健康資訊之資源與服務,以及瞭解館員對於提供健康資訊服務之專業知能與繼續教育需求,並透過研究結果發現的現況與困境,提出具體建議,期望提供未來公共圖書館推動健康資訊服務之參考。 本研究採用問卷調查法與深度訪談法,以文獻探討為基礎,根據研究問題與研究目的設計調查問卷與訪談大綱,問卷調查對象以國內縣市級以上公共圖書館為對象,並邀請七位曾經或目前任職於公共圖書館之館員進行訪談。研究結果顯示: 一、身障讀者健康資訊資源類型多元,但缺乏整理組織。 二、身障讀者較少於圖書館諮詢健康相關問題;健康相關推廣活動的形式以電影聽賞活動與工作坊為主,主題則包含日常健康保健、疾病預防與照護、藥物資訊、健康照護系統或服務等內容。 三、館員在提供健康資訊服務時的困難,包含缺乏相關知識背景、缺乏教育訓練、現有館藏資源不足、擔心法律與隱私問題、不清楚可參考資源、無法理解讀者問題、缺乏人力與經費、館舍空間不足以及活動反映不佳等問題。 四、館員熟悉館內的健康資訊資源,但缺乏評估與過濾健康資源之能力,也不瞭解相關讀者健康資訊需求,對於相關倫理守則僅有粗淺的概念。 五、館員對於健康資訊服務繼續教育的意願很高,期望能學習到相關知識與技能。 根據研究結果本研究分別針對公共圖書館營運狀況、健康資訊服務規劃與推廣以及健康資訊服務專業知能繼續教育三方面提供建議: 一、營運狀況方面:制定圖書館健康資訊服務相關指引、延攬志工彌補人力不足狀況。 二、健康資訊服務規劃與推廣方面:加強組織整理身心障礙健康相關資訊資源、強化不同領域合作單位交流、開展多元健康資訊服務形式。 三、健康資訊服務專業知能繼續教育方面:規劃圖書館員健康資訊服務專業化、加強圖書館員健康資訊服務專業知能培訓。zh_TW
dc.description.abstract (摘要) This research aims to study health information services for people with disabilities in public libraries in Taiwan from the perspective of public libraries as well as the professional competencies and continuing education needs of public librarians in providing health information services. The research refers to explores the current situation and dilemmas health information services in order to offer concrete proposals for public libraries to promote health information services. The research adopts questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews methods. Based on the literature reviews, the questionnaire and interview outline are designed according to the research questions and research purposes. The subject of questionnaire survey includes public libraries at the county and city level and above in Taiwan. Seven librarians who have worked or currently work in public libraries were invited to conduct interviews. The research led to the following conclusions: 1. Health information resources for disabled readers are diversified, but lack of organization. 2. Readers with disabilities are less likely to consult health-related issues in libraries. Health information promotion activities for disabled readers are mainly in the form of movie listening activities and workshops, and the themes include daily health care, disease prevention and care, drug information, health care system and so on. 3. Difficulties faced by librarians when providing health information services include lack of relevant knowledge, lack of education and training, insufficient collections, concerns about legal and privacy issues, confusion about available reference resources, inability to understand readers' questions, lack of manpower and funding, insufficient space in the library, and poor response to programs. 4. Librarians are familiar with health information resources in the library, but they lack the ability to evaluate health resources, and they don’t understand health information needs of patrons, and they only have a shallow concept of related ethical codes. 5. Librarians have a high desire for continuing education in health information services and expect to learn relevant knowledge and skills. According to the results of the study, the research offers recommendations on the operation of public libraries, the planning and promotion of health information services, and the continuing education of professional knowledge on health information services. 1. Operation: Develop guidelines for health information services in libraries, and recruit volunteers to make up for the shortage of manpower. 2. Health information service planning and promotion: Strengthening the organization and sorting of health information resources on disabilities, enhancing exchanges among different cooperation units, and developing diversified forms of health information services. 3. Continuing education on professional knowledge of health information services: planning the professionalization of health information services for librarians and strengthening the training of librarians on professional knowledge of health information services.en_US
