dc.description.abstract (摘要) | 高達美(Hans-Georg Gadamer, 1900-2001)在1960年於他的名著《真理與方法》(Wahrheit und Methode)中提出了哲學詮釋學(philosophische Hermeneutik)之理論,主張其能掌握住真實的藝術經驗、歷史經驗及語言經驗之存有學特徵,並斷言它在其語言哲學之助下已為傳統的方法論詮釋學帶來一種存有學轉向。本研究計畫承接筆者之碩、博士論文研究旨趣,擬進一步分析詮釋學之存有學轉向跟洪堡(Wilhelm von Humboldt, 1767-1835)之語言哲學的內在關聯性。透過對比高達美與洪堡的語言理論,筆者企圖指出其對哲學詮釋學之實踐向度所能帶來的啟發,並藉以重新檢視哲學詮釋學之理論系統整體。本研究計劃之執行首先將聚焦闡釋西方語言思想史中的「語言世界觀」跟「語言工具觀」之間的爭論析辯,藉以凸顯高達美與洪堡共享的「語言作為中間世界」之觀點,俾使高達美哲學詮釋學中的語言理論能更容易被理解。接著則是試圖去梳理兩位哲學家之差異處,藉以考察高達美究竟訴諸洪堡的「語言世界觀」概念到何種程度才足以完成詮釋學之存有學轉向。最後,筆者擬從內部批判的角度來反思洪堡語言理論能為哲學詮釋學之理論系統完善化所帶來的可能貢獻。基於上述目標,本研究計畫將在三個子題下來逐步執行:(一)高達美對西方語言思想史之解構與再建構,(二)分析與比較洪堡及高達美的語言哲學,(三)洪堡語言哲學對詮釋學之存有學轉向的實踐意義。 | |
dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Hans-Georg Gadamer (1900-2001) proposed his theory of philosophical hermeneutics in his famous book "Truth und Method" in 1960, which claims to grasp ontological features of real experiences in art, history and language, and affirms that it has brought an ontological shift for the traditional methodological hermeneutics with the help of its own philosophy of language. This research project undertakes the research interest of author's master's thesis and doctoral dissertation, and tries to analyze further the inner relationship between the ontological turn of herumeneuitcs and Wilhelm von Humboldt's (1767-1835) philosophy of language. By comparing Gadamer's and Humboldt's doctrine of language, the author attempts to point out the inspirations that it can bring to the practice dimension of philosophical hermeneutics, and to re-examine the theoretical system of philosophical hermeneutics as a whole.The implementation of this research project will first focus on explaining the dispute between the "linguistic worldview" and the "instrumental view of language" in the Western history of linguistic thought, and thereby highlight the viewpoint of "language as between-world" shared by Gadamer and Humboldt in the philosophy of language in order to make Gadamer's doctrine of language in philosophical hermeneutics easier to understand. The next is to try to analyse differentiaiones between both philosophers, in order to examine to what extent Gundam's resorting to Humboldt's concept of "linguistic worldview" is sufficient to complete the ontological shift of hermeneutics. Finally, the author intends to reflect from the perspective of internal criticism on possible contributions that Humboldt's docrine of language can bring to the improvement of the theoretical system of philosophical hermeneutics. Based on the above-mentioned objectives, this research project is to be implemented under three sub-topics gradually: (1) Gadamer's deconstruction and reconstruction of the Western history of linguistic thoughts, (2) analysis and comparison of Humboldt's and Gadamer's philosophy of language, and (3) the practical significance of Humboldt's philosophy of language for the ontological shift of hermeneutics. | |
