Summary | Problem: Sex education in Taiwan is still a challenge in the country, even though sex education has been formally given in schools, especially for Muslim families. Solution TRIPS (Trilogy of Sexual Education) is designed to provide knowledge about sexuality to children and parents. Major findings: It is a big challenge for Muslim mothers to educate their children according to Islamic teachings. Self-confidence, knowledge, family, environment, and culture become the major factors to deliver sex education based on Islamic values. Conclusion: Providing mothers with knowledge about Islamic sex education is needed. |
