dc.description.abstract (摘要) | Due to the Liberal Democratic Party’s long-term dominance, interactions among actors have been much institutionalized. It has been argued that the absence of power alternation has prevented Japan from having a real change. On August 30, 2009, the-then opposition party, the Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ), won a landslide victory and became a ruling party in September. How may power alternation affect Japanese politics? In particular, how will a triumvirate of party politicians, the bureaucracy and interest groups be affected? This research will use the health care as a case study to investigate the possible changes. | en_US |
