摘要 北極區域(Arcticregion)是指北極附近北極圈以內的區域,包含北冰洋及北美、北亞與歐洲大陸邊緣以及島嶼將近2,650萬平方公里,涵蓋俄羅斯、美國、加拿大、挪威、丹麥、芬蘭、冰島、瑞典區域。氣候變化背景下,北極地區冰融化,經濟方面的後果航運和礦產勘查,強調了開放西北和東北通道的可能性,。通過新的北極航路航線的距離更短一些運營商比傳統路線使用巴拿馬運河或蘇伊士運河,一個可以發展交通流量大,更因此與提取碳氫化合物和礦產資源。本文除序言和結語外,探討了經濟和戰略價值的北極,主權和管轄權的北極,北極地區的法律地位,北極地區的爭端,北極環境保護,專屬經濟區和大陸架的北冰洋。
In the context of climate change in the Arctic, economic dimensions about the consequences of the ice melting underline the possibility of the opening up the Northwest and the Northeast Passages to shipping and mineral exploration.Thr ough new Arctic sea routes lanes much shorter the distancefor some ca rriers than traditional routes using the Panama Canal or the Suez Canal, a large traffic flow could develop, all the more so with the extraction of hydrocarbons and mineral resources.This paper in addition to the preface and conclusion, examines the economic and strategic value of the Arctic ,sovereignty and jurisdiction over the Arctic, legal status of the Arctic, the Arctic Region dispute, the Arctic Environmental Protection, the exclusive economic zone and continental shelf of the Arctic Ocean.
