business model innovation日期 2012 上傳時間 3-六月-2013 11:06:37 (UTC+8) 摘要 網路媒體與行動科技正急遽催化傳統報業,使傳統報業發生結構性變革。在資源缺乏與科技劣勢下,傳統報業如何巧妙運用外部資源,進行媒體的內容、載體與商業模式創新?本研究特別選取國內知名的Peopo公民新聞平台、國家地理頻道、2008年美國新聞獎普立茲專題報導獎(feature writing)得獎作品《早餐前的珍珠(Pearls Before Breakfast)》、壹傳媒動畫公司、以及曜越科技等五個案例,分析每個案例所面對的制約,以及他們在內容、載體、與商業模式上的開放式創新作法。在理論貢獻上,本研究歸結出五種開放式創新原則,分別是社會資本型開放、投資型開放、設計型開放、智財型開放、以及社群型開放,對開放式創新理論作出貢獻。在實務貢獻上,本研究分別檢視傳統媒體面對資訊內容的演化、載體特質與傳播模式的演化、以及經濟活動演化下,如何有效創新。本研究闡釋記者與讀者互動方式的改變,以說明設計性報導或專業社群報導如何改變資訊內容;又電腦、手機、電視、平板等四個螢幕的載體特質,如何改變新聞傳播方式,而傳統媒體應該如何善用跨載體傳播以產生綜效。最後,新聞媒體如何善用智慧財產的布局與授權機制,以創新媒體獲利模式。
New media and mobile technology are transforming traditional newspapers. Under resource constraints and technology disadvantages, how traditional newspapers innovate the contents, the media channels and business models by leveraging outside resources? This research select five cases to illustrate new open media innovation, including the Peopo citizen news platform, National Geographic Channel, one outstanding Pulitzer feature writing prize – Pearls Before Breakfast, Next Media Animation, and Thermaltake. In theoretical implication, we find out five specific open innovation principles: open by energizing social capital, open by investing local media, open by leveraging design capability, open by IP management, and open by managing community.
