摘要: 台灣銀行家數眾多、業務同質性高、競價競爭等問題,使台灣金融市場競爭激烈,加上台灣政府近年積極推動「新南向政策」,鼓勵本國銀行擴大海外版圖,惟國際化是否能提升台灣銀行業之經營績效?因此,本研究將重新檢視台灣上市銀行業國際化程度與其績效間之關係。\n本研究針對台灣24家上市銀行業作為研究樣本,並運用OLS模型探討台灣上市銀行業2009年至2018年整體營運績效趨勢,並加入銀行成立年數及規模大小等非財務性指標、衡量銀行授信品質之財務性指標。進一步探討國際化程度高低與經營績效之關聯性,並以「國際化」為交乘項變數,研究發現「國際化」、「銀行規模」、「逾期放款比率」及「經濟成長率」等4項變數為台灣上市銀行業經營績效之重要決定因素。\n更進一步探討國際化程度下與經營績效之關聯性,並採以「國際化」作為交叉項變數,研究結果發現「銀行規模」越大、「成立年數」越久,且國際化程度越高,有助於經營績效成長。
