1950年代臺灣大眾媒體所呈現的國際觀：以《中央日報》與《公論報》為中心

Abstract

本計畫的基本提問是，在嚴密的訊息控制與頻繁的宣傳命令下，一九五○年代的臺灣媒體與黨政宣傳機構所欲塑造的國際觀，彼此之間是否有差距？媒體以哪些具體方式來描繪表現中華民國在世界中的定位？換言之，當時的臺灣人所能接觸了解的國際觀究竟是何種樣貌？藉由前一年度計畫對《宣傳週報》的整理，累積長達十年的宣傳命令與國際情勢分析，這些命令有無被執行、執行的樣貌或技巧及其變化為何、官方與民間媒體的報導差異，以及兩者之間的衝突互動，為本計畫的觀察重心。本計畫將從年代主流大眾媒體報紙出發，聚焦在官方與民間立場上具代表性的《中央日報》含「地圖周刊」及「國際周刊」與《公論報》，由兩報的國際新聞報導、評論與專刊等，旁及國民黨黨史館、國史館與中研院近史所檔案館的相關檔案，冀望能勾勒出年代形塑台灣人民國際觀的大眾媒體內容。

What this project wants to ask is: is there any difference between the world view from KMT’s propaganda depart and the contents from mass media under the control of media and a large number of propaganda order in 1950s? In what ways did the mass media display the ROC’s position in the world? In other words, what kind of world view could Taiwanese in general contact in 1950s? By the project of last year, I have collected a great dea of propaganda order and analysis of the world about ten years. From the data, this project will focus on whether propaganda order be realized, how mass media show the world, the difference and struggle between official media and folk media. This project will collect the news reports, comments and special issues about the world news from (including and ) and . In the same time, this project also uses the archives from KM , Academia Historia and Institute of Modern China, Academia Sinica. This project will hope to draw the outline of the world view on mass media in 1950s.
