ERIC、LISA、Library Literature資料庫收錄範圍完整性(Coverage)之比較

Abstract

光碟資料庫的建立，雖提供檢索者便捷的檢索環境，然而每一個資料庫 的資料收錄範圍是否完整，卻對檢索者就其研究所需資料確實掌握與否影響甚 鉅。本文經由書目法對ERIC、LISA、Library Literature三種資料庫，進行資料收錄 範圍完整性的比較，並欲透過結果分析，提供檢索者在進行資訊檢索時，能更適 切地掌握資訊來源。

A CD-ROM database is established to provide users with the convenient facilityfor rapid information retrieval; The completeness of its coverage has great influenceon the accurate availability of the related information required by the users. In thisarticle a comparative study is made on the completeness of subject coverage in ERIC,LISA and Library Literatrue databases through the bibliographic approach in thehope that from the findings of such an analysis information sources will be madeavailable more appropriately to users in their information retrieval.
